Barbara Ann Foster - 76, of Waverley, passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2010 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Waterville, Kings County, she was the only child of the late Roy and Margaret (Lloyd) Hale. She had been employed in the insurance industry as a secretary for many years. She is survived by a foster son, James (Brenda), Truro Heights and a number of extended family members and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard "Dick" Foster on November 24, 2010. Cremation has taken place and there was no visitation, by request. The funeral service, followed by a reception, was held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 18, 2010 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Reverend Doctor Randy Crozsman officiating. Burial took place in the Cambridge Cemetery, Kings County. Donations in memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia, your local S.P.C.A or your local Food Bank.
