Mrs. Winifred Perry Wright of Pine Street Sussex, passed away at her residence on December 20, 2010 at the age of 91. Born in Mechanic Settlement on March 14, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Leah (Manning) Munroe and was the wife of the late Arthur E. Wright, who passed away in 1984. Winifred is survived by her daughter, Anne and her husband Robert LeCours of St. Thomas, Ontario, son, Paul Wright of Sussex; three grandchildren: Frances Ann McKay-Wright (Ryan) and Eliza Katherine McKay-Wright (Hugo), both of Nelson, BC and Daniel Arthur McKay-Wright of Fredericton, two great grandchildren: Jack and Evan, as well as several nieces and nephews. Winifred was the last surviving member of her immediate family, she is predeceased by her brother, Wallace Munroe; three sisters: Delores Graves, Dorothy Munroe, and Rhoda Goddard.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). A Celebration of Winifred's life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 11:00 am. The interment will take place at Trinity Cemetery in the spring.
