The passing of Christina C. Stone of Perth-Andover, formerly of Argosy, occurred on Sunday, December 19, 2010 at the Victoria Glen Manor at the age of 82. Born at Lake Edward, she was a daughter of the late Ellery and Jessie (Johnston) Watson. Christina is survived by one sister Florence Stewart (Paul) of Hamilton, Ontario, granddaughter Karlotta Stone, grandson Travis Stone, great granddaughters Megan and Samantha White, one great great grandson, daughter-in-law Darlene, all of Ontario, sister-in-law Edna Watson of Bath, NB, brother-in-law Alton Pirie of Perth-Andover, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Arnold, son Karl, five brothers, Raymond (Kathryn), Bernard (Amy), Lewis, Elwood (Laura) and Edward (Pauline), three sisters, Crystal (Timothy, Ed), Arline and Betty (Charles).
Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting on Wednesday, December 22nd from 1 to 2 p.m. at which time a funeral service will be held with Rev. Robert Leblanc officiating. Interment will follow in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Limestone Siding. By Christina's request, in lieu of flowers, donations to St. Paul's Cemetery Fund or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
