It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Franklyn C. Pyke on Nov. 30, 2010, at Huronview Home for the Aged in Clinton.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Kathryn 'Kay'; cherished by his daughter, Cheryl (Mel) Hohner and loving grandfather of Julie and Michael Hohner, all of Clinton. He is also survived by sister, Eva (Sam) Karrel of Glace Bay, Nova Scotia; sisters-in-law, Hilda MacLennan, Jean Murray, both of Toronto and Audrey Hudson of Florida.
Frank was born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia in 1917.
He was predceased by his parents, Albert and Miriam Pyke and four brothers.
Frank served in the armed forces 1937-1945. He then served in the Royal Canadian Air Force overseas and in Canada. Frank was a member of the Mocha Temple Shriners, Masonic Lodge AF & AM #309, and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #140 Clinton.
Cremation has taken place. Interment of ashes took place at Bairds' Cemetery, Dec. 11, 2010.
