Aaron Gilliss
Aaron B. Gilliss, 34, of Irishtown, with his loving family at his side, passed away at his residence on Monday, December 20, 2010. Born in Chatham, he was the son of Sandra (MacKenzie) Gilliss of Miramichi and Brian Gilliss of Napan. Aaron was employed as a Truck Engine Technical Communicator with Atlantic Tractors & Equipment Ltd., Moncton with 15 years service and attended St. John's United Church. Aaron was an outdoors person who enjoyed camping, four wheeling, was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Blue Jays fan and enjoyed spending precious time with his family, especially his wife Ruth Ann and son Ryan. In addition to his parents, Aaron will be sadly missed by his wife, Ruth Ann (Murphy); his precious son, Ryan; grandparents, Glenna Gilliss, Napan, James and Helen MacKenzie, Napan; brothers, Bradley, Napan, Dean (Jennie), Fredericton; father and mother-in-law, Patrick and Margaret Murphy, Napan; brother-in-law, Raymond Murphy (Krissy), Fort McMurray; one niece, Olivia; two nephews, Dax and Dylan; several aunts, uncles, cousins. He was predeceased by his grandfather, William Gilliss.
Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service, St. John's United Church, Wednesday, December 22, 2010, 11:00 am, Rev. Aaron Billard officiating. Reception following the service.
