Passed peacefully away at Holyrood on Monday, December 20, 2010, at age 82, formerly of Mt. Pearl. Leaving to mourn his four daughters: Charmaine (Don) Squires, Linda (Keith) Oliver, Cindy (Ross) Sullivan, Elisabeth (Gary) Pope; eight sons: Paul (Lynn), Steve, Mike, Doug (Beverly), Bernard (Mary), Craig, Ken (Cynnamon), Shawn and their mother Elizabeth French; twenty-one grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister Carmel (Clyde) Johnston; number of nieces and nephews; special friends Betty and Walter Tobin; also the staff and residence of Tobin's Guest Home at Holyrood where he resided for 12 years. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mt. Pearl, on Tuesday and Wednesday, December 21st and 22nd, with visitation hours of 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, December 23rd at 9:30 a.m. Private family interment to follow.
