Passed peacefully away in Palliative Care, in the presence of his loving family on December 18, 2010, Alexander Sheppard Noseworthy, aged 80 years. Predeceased by his parents Jacob and Susan, brother; George and his wife Ann, sisters: Ruth, Winnifred, Violet and Daisy: brother-in-law Bert Jenkins. Leaving to mourn with fond memories his wife Bernice, daughters: Trudy Jones (Barry), Debbie, Beverly (Gerard Horan) and son Rick (Sally). Grandchildren: Scott (Christine), Steven, Danica (Dave), Brad (Holly and Coby), Colin, Ryan, Rikki-Lee (Matt), Daryl (Patricia), Michael, Matthew, Amanda and Danielle. Also leaving brother Ray (Una) and sister Emma Jenkins, brothers-in-law: Roland Miller, Albert Burgess, Richard Noel, Gordon Stockley (Geraldine) and many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Alex was a member of the Loyal Orange Lodge and was a past Master of the Leeming Lodge #1282. Special thanks to the caring staff at Community Health and the Palliative Care Unit at the Miller Centre. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Carnell's Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service and celebration of his life will take place on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 2 p.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel.
