Passed away peacefully with his loving wife at his side on December 18th, 2010, age 69 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Christine and children: Tonya (Robin) and Brian (June); most precious grandchildren: Katie, Matthew and soon to be born baby of Brian and June; sister Alma; brothers-in-law: Tom (Pat), Melvin (Phyllis), sister-in-law Mildred (Lorne), and a large circle of relatives and friends. Predeceased by parents George and Beulah, sisters: Nina and Verna, brother George, and father and mother-in-law William and Blanche Snow. Heartfelt thanks to all the staff at the Waterford and Health Science Dialysis Units and to Dr. Brent Tompkins and his team at the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre for their excellent care and support. Thanks also to friends and family for visitation and food donations both at home and at the hospital. Visitation will take place at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., Monday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place from St. James United Church on Tuesday, December 21st at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Kidney Foundation. A true Newfoundlander, greatly missed by all who knew him.
