Passed peacefully at home Friday December 17 2010, after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Leaving to mourn his beloved wife, Beverly, and daughter, Cassandra. Predeceased by his parents, Samuel and Dorothy Walsh (Moriarity), father-in-law, Stephen Walsh. Sisters: Margurite and brother-in-law, David Brophy, sister, Frances Walsh and brother-in-law, Todd Conway. Leaving to remember him fondly are his brothers: Sandy, Philadelphia, Michael (Joanne), Philadelphia, Leo (Nora), sisters: Nancy (Billy) Burke, Toronto, Helen (Richard) Dalton, Uncle Michael Walsh, Philadelphia, Uncle Pad, Uncle Mick, Aunt Peg, Aunt Nora and Aunt Theresa. Mother and father-in-law, George and Helen Conway, Brothers-in-law: Max Walsh (Lili), Calgary, Shawn (Dana) Walsh, British Columbia, Georgie (Eddie) Conway, Ontario, sister-in-law, Melinda Conway. Also a large circle of nieces and nephews, family and friends. A special thank you to nurse, Melissa Edwards and caregiver, Margaret Foley. He was a loving father, husband and a caring person to everyone he met. Resting at Conway's Funeral Home, Conception Hr. Visitation on Monday, December 20, 2010, 11 a.m.-4 p.m., 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at 2 p.m. from the Immaculate Conception Church, Colliers. Interment to follow at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Colliers. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made in his memory to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre.
