IN LOVING MEMORY OF
KARMEN LEA JONES
1950 - 2010

Karmen died suddenly at her home in Vancouver on December 11, 2010.

She was born in Belleville, Ontario. With her family she moved to other areas, since her father was in the Air Force. Starting with Metz, France where she took her Kindergarten; next moves were to Ontario, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and eventually Barrington Passage, Nova Scotia, where she completed her High Schooling. Her father's next posting was Kamloops, B.C. There, Karmen enrolled in the Royal Inland Hospital School of Nursing in 1967. She graduated in 1970 with her R.N.; her class being the first in B.C. to write Canadian R.N. exams.

Karmen was predeceased by her mother Eleanor in 1979, and is survived by her father Arthur Jones, sister Marlene Jones both of Kamloops, and sister Debora McInnes (Brent) and nephews Bryan (Karen) and Greg of New Westminster, B.C.

Karmen touched many lives with her generosity and thoughtfulness. She harboured a wealth of knowledge on many interesting subjects; and she had a taste for adventure.

As a nurse she went the extra mile to give her patients the best possible care.

Karmen will be sadly missed by her immediate Family, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.

A Celebration of Karmen's Life was held on Sunday, 19 December at the McInnes residence in New Westminster.
