Richard Lobban
1944 - 2010 - Miramichi - Richard Alexander Lobban, of Hickman Street, Amherst, and formerly of Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Friday, December 24, 2010, at the age of 66. Born in Chatham, on September 26, 1944, he was the son of the late John A. and Beatrice (Jardine) Lobban. He was a labourer and Anglican by faith. He is survived by one sister, Jean MacDonald, of Black River Bridge; two brothers, Parker Lobban (Jennine), of Sudbury, Ont. and David Lobban (Carmel), of Upper Napan; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Elizabeth Sheppard; two brothers, Norman and Kenneth Lobban.
Visitation will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., Miramichi, on Monday only, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held from Adams Funeral Home Chapel, on Tuesday, December 28, 2010, at 2 pm, conducted by Rev. Gordon Thompson. Interment will be in the Black River Community Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
