We, the family, of Madge McLean regret to announce her passing on Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010 at the Alderwood Rest Home in Baddeck.
Born in Glace Bay she was the daughter of the late Mark and Maggie (Farie) Waidson.
She was a member of St. Peter/St. John Anglican Church, Baddeck.
She is survived by her son Adrian (Shirley) McLean, Florence; grandchild, Del (Jack) Bradley, Sydney Mines; and great-grandchild, Kristina Bradley, Ottawa.
Madge was predeceased by her husband, Phil; a daughter at birth; twin sister, Mable; sisters, Jennie and Florence; brothers, Joe, Harry and George.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of MacAskill Funeral Home. Keeping with Madge's wishes there will be no visitation or service. Burial will be in Harbourview Cemetery at a later date.
