Olga Viola Dale
July 24, 1920 to December 30, 2010
Olga was born on the family farm at Bromhead, Saskatchewan. She attended Floata School and helped at the farm. In 1948, Olga married William Dale, and lived in Saskatchewan, first in Estevan and later in Prince Albert. They settled in Moose Jaw, where they lived until Bill's passing. Olga then moved to Saskatoon to be closer to her son Barry. Olga was predeceased by her husband William in 2000, her parents, two half brothers, 3 brothers and 4 sisters. She is survived by her son Barry (Dianne and her two children, Kimberley and Russell), one sister Yvonne (Clarence) Steinke, Estevan, Sask., numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Olga passed peacefully in her sleep at St. Paul's Hospital in Saskatoon, Thursday evening, December 30, 2010. Honoring her wishes, a Graveside Service will be held at Sunset Cemetery in Moose Jaw, Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at 2:00 pm. Reverend Doug Shepherd will officiate. Flowers are gratefully declined. If desired, memorials can be made to the Moose Jaw Hospital Auxiliary, 455 Fairford St.E., Moose Jaw, S6H 1H3 or to Providence Place Foundation, 100 2nd Ave., N.E., Moose Jaw, S6H 1B8.
