The 23 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren will remember her as a smiling grandmother who took great pleasure in handing out candy. She will also be mourned by a sister, Sophie Thebeau Rogersville, a brother Alyre (Geraldine) LeBlanc, Upper Sheila and several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and cousins.
She was predeceased by a brother Albert (2002) (Marie) LeBlanc and a grandson Kevin Brewer (1991). Mom has always shown great devotion to her family and her community. At 91, she was still able to give us a good challenge at the games of crib and whist. Mom was well known and took great pride in speaking to everyone. The family wishes to thank the staffs of the Miramichi Hospital and the extra mural Hospital, and those who has provided assistance and support at home: Elizabeth Arseneault, Gilberte Cormier, Marie-Mai Fournier and Ghislaine Richard. We also acknowledge the outstanding care of Dr. Basil Blanchard. We have greatly appreciated the encouragement and support manifested by many parents and friends during her sickness.
