HODDER, John Leslie "Jack"- Peacefully after a sudden illness at the Trillium Health Centre in Mississauga, Ontario on Monday, January 3, 2011 in his 76th year. Loving husband and best friend of 42 years to Maureen (nee O'Neill). Dear brother of Winnifred Vey Barrett of St. John's Nfld., Masie Vey Keats of St. John's Nfld., Rita Vey Noel of Halifax, N.S, Elizabeth Ann Kowalski and her husband Tom residing in Florida. Fondly remembered by his sister-in-law Joan Bown and her husband Tom, brothers-in-law Kevin O'Neill and his wife Sandra and Robert O'Neill and his wife Sheila, as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sisters, Janet Wildsmith, Frances Hart and Dorothy Keefe, as well as his parents Jonas and Ethel (nee Benson), of Grates Cove, Nfld. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Jack's life will be held at a later date in St. John's, Nfld. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Jack's memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
