Archie Gromick, 77, of Coxheath, passed away Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late Samuel and Mary (Fiolex) Gromick.
Archie was a member of the United Protestant Church of Sydney River.
Archie is survived by his wife, Lois (Timmons); daughter, Ellen (Bob) Gromick, Coxheath; son, Daryl (Mary Joe), Dominion; sister, Caroline Paruch, Sydney; brothers, John (Gen), Dominion, William (Eleanor), Dartmouth, Joseph (Rita), Glace Bay and a grandson, Joey.
He was predeceased by a sister, Rose Turner.
There will be no visitation, cremation has taken place. A funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 22 at Sydney Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dana Feltmate officiating. Interment in Alfred Smith Cemetery.
