Leone passed away peacefully in Edmonton, at the age of 72, surrounded by her loving family after a valiant battle with cancer.
She will be dearly missed by her husband of 48 years, Eugene; son, Paul; daughter, Sharon (Michael) Chatenay and three grandchildren, Keaton, Krysten and Jayden Chatenay.
She was predeceased by her brother, William Holland, father, Isaac and mother, Isabel (Driscoll) and is survived by her brothers, David (Gwen), Ken (Deb) and Eric (Karen); sisters, Carmella (Don) Beavis and Sherraine (Earl) Christopherson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and myriads of close friends in Edmonton and abroad.
A celebration of Leone's life will be held Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011, at Richmond Park Church, 9340-69 Ave., Edmonton at 1 p.m. with reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Muscular Dystrophy Canada, Tourette Syndrome Foundation of Canada or the charity of your choice.
