GILBERT, A. Mary - 90, of New Canaan, Cumberland Co. passed away Monday, January 24, 2011 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan. Mary was born in England and arrived in Canada in 1946 as a war bride. She is survived by her husband, Cedric; sons, Jeffrey (Jan), Ottawa; Allan (Merle), Ottawa; Brian (Celeste), Lower Sackville; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Olive and Frances. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Thursday, [January 27, 2011] at Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro, where funeral will be held 2 p.m. Friday [January 28, 2011], Rev. Tory Byrne officiating.
