Peacefully at home on Monday, July 6, 2009, of Ethel M. Higginbotham (nee MacKinnon) of Peters Road in her 90th year. Veteran of the Second World War. Wife of the late Bruce Higginbotham and the late Pierce W. Butler. Loving mother of Glen (Marg) MacKinnon, Lindsay, Ont.; Dianne (Merrill) Condon, Montague; Wanda (Sterling) Higginbotham, Murray River; Boyd (Reen) Butler, North Vancouver, B.C.; Danny (Mary Helen) Butler, Montague; Gerald (Judy) Butler, Murray Harbour North; and Steve, Peters Road. Loving grandmother to 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by son, Douglas Butler. Resting at Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home from where the service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 2 p.m. Interment in the Peters Road Cemetery.
