Anthony 'Tony' O'Quinn

Tony passed away suddenly and peacefully, surrounded by his family, at his home in Kingston on Friday, Jan. 28, 2011 at the age of 69.
He will be lovingly missed by his wife, Shawn Glory O'Quinn. Beloved father to Shane and Tammy (Tyler) Attewell. Dear brother to Joe (Shirley), Fraser (Annette), Mary and predeceased by parents, Edwin and Margaret O'Quinn; sister, Carmel; brother, Francis 'Bud'; nephew, Scott and parents-in-law, Elizabeth and Robert Bailey. Tony will be dearly missed by his babies, Shammy and Rollo. Tony will be dearly missed by his numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.
In Tony's honour Cataraqui Town Centre has placed their flags at half mast - where he spent 20 years socializing as a member of the security department.
Tony had a contagious smile, personality that all who knew him, could only love. Tony's family meant the world to him especially his children, dogs and wife Shawn Glory.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Fr. Leo Byrne for his help, support and compassion. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Paul the Apostle Church, 1111 Taylor Kidd Blvd. on Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011 at 3 p.m. Cremation to follow. Final place of rest St. Michael's Cemetery, River Ryan, Cape Breton.
For those wishing, donations may be made to St. Paul the Apostle Church Building Fund, in his honour.
A reception following mass will be held at Royal Canadian Legion Branch #631 Collins Bay. All are welcome to the funeral and reception.
