LEARNING, Doris Maxine- Passed peacefully away on February 2, 2011 in Halifax in her 79th year. Dear mother to Donald, Ottawa; Fred, Salmonier, N.L. and Maxine (Peter Simpkin) in Sackville and a dear Nanny to Sarah, London and Emma, Kingston, Ont. Leaving to mourn are brother Ralph Courage (Selina), and sisters Pauline Simms and Marjorie Squires, as well as many nieces and nephews. Doris was a devoted wife of 55 years to Arthur who predeceased her in 2009. Cremation has already taken place. Funeral on Monday February 7th at 11:00 AM from St. John The Evangelist Anglican Church, 934, Old Sackville Road, Lower Sackville, with the Rev. Sandra Hounsell-Drover officiating.
