The death of Joseph George Caissie of Minto occurred Friday, February 4th, 2011 at the Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB. Born in Minto, he was the son of the late Onesime and Leona (Richard) Caissie. George is survived by his son, Brian Caissie (Sara) of Minto; his daughter, Nicole Caissie (Robert Malloy) of Chipman; three granddaughters, Hailey Malloy-Caissie, Tia Myers and Samantha Caissie; two grandsons, Kyler Malloy-Caissie and Tye Caissie; a brother, Frank Caissie and sisters, Theresa Copeland (Hayward) and Martha Vautour (Emery) all of Minto and several nieces and nephews. In addition to both parents, he was predeceased by a sister Judy Williams and a brother Gerald Caissie.
Resting at Hogg Funeral Services (10 King Street, Minto, NB) with visitation Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM, Tuesday, February 8th, 2011 from the Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Minto with Father Paul Bebodu officiating. Interment will take place in St. Bridget's Cemetery, Hardwood Ridge, NB.
