July 29th, 1932 - February 8th, 2011

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Annie Donchi on February 8th, 2011.

Annie is survived by her children Les (Pat) of Edmonton, AB, Shirley (Al) Wiley of McLure, BC and Mike (Darlene) of Fort Nelson, BC. Also left to cherish her memory are grandchildren Jason (Erin), Kenton, Kyler (Colby), Angie (Warren), Katrina, Chad (OC), Rory, Dana (Krystal), Rob, and Randy as well as ten great-grandchildren whom she loved and adored, and brothers Rudo (Marianne), Willie (Lois), sisters Olga (Bill), Mary (Len), brothers-in-law Bernard (Arlene) and Jim (Glenys).

Annie was predeceased by her husband John, her mother and father, Mike and Irne Matuga, other family members, Laura and Bud Wilson, Millie and Ken Schneider, Ronnie (Brenda) Donchi, and Robert and Lois Donchi.

Annie was born July 29th, 1932 in Kamloops, BC and lived in Vinsulla. She was married October 13th, 1951 and remained in Vinsulla where all three kids were born, before moving to McLure until 2004. While in McLure, Annie spent her time tending gardens, flowers, fruit trees and the yard. She enjoyed a good hand of crib and playing card games with her friends. She also enjoyed camping, fishing, bowling and darts. Later on she learned to love doing crafts, while doing her puzzles and socializing with family, friends and grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m on Sunday, February 13th, 2011 at Kamloops Funeral Home, 285 Fortune Drive, Kamloops, BC, with interment to take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 14th, 2011 at Hillside Cemetery.
