The death occurred peacefully at the Colville Manor in Souris on Thursday, February 10, 2011 of Annie MacKenzie (nee Rose), in her 86th year.
Wife of the late Keith MacKenzie. Loving mother of Linda (Thane) Carter, Elinor (Michael) MacPhee, Lori (Mike) Fitzpatrick and special daughter Charlene (Bobby) Outhouse. Survived by brother Frank (Sylvia) Rose of London, Ontario, step brother Edwin Fraser and step sisters Lillian Robertson and Edna Rose. Fondly remembered by grandchildren Natalie and Mitchell (Desiree) Carter, Connor and Kenzie MacPhee, Alex and Sean Fitzpatrick and Christopher Outhouse, special great-granddaughter Chloe Faith Carter.
Predeceased by parents, Fred and Laura Rose and stepmother Hilda (Fraser) Rose; sisters, Margaret and Elinor Rose and stepbrother, Wallly Fraser.
Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris for visiting hours on Saturday, February 12, 2011, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral to be held on Sunday, February 13, 2011 at the Bay Fortune United Church for funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
