1949 - 2011
It is with great sadness we announce the death of our special sister who passed away peacefully at the Chalmer’s Regional Hospital on Thursday, February 10th, 2011. Joyce was born in Moncton on October 26th, 1949, the daughter of the late Clifford and Violet (Wilson) Collier. She is survived by her sisters, Grace (Walter) Jonah of Dawson Settlement and Mamie Farquharson of Princeton Maine; brother Daniel Collier of Young ‘s Cove, special sister-in-law, Marlene Collier-Duffy (Wally) of Fredericton. Also many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother, Ivan, Sister-in-law Anne Collier and brother-in-law Alfred Farquharson.
Joyce enjoyed and loved her bingo nights, crafts, family and friends, and her Church. She loved to volunteer her time at the Mill Cove Nursing Home. Joyce was very talented and loved to knit and do embroidery work.

A celebration of Joyce’s life will be held on Sunday, February 13th, 2011 at Chipman Funeral Home from 1-4 pm. A memorial service will be held at the Mill Cove Church of God at at later date. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Mill Cove Nursing Home or Church of choice. Condolences may be offered at www.chipmanfuneralhome.ca
