John A. Locke III: 1938 - 2011:  John Locke passed away peacefully on January 4, 2011 in South Carolina.  John was the son of John II and Thelma Locke (nee Pierce) formerly of Liverpool and East Sable River. John and his family kept the tradition of spending summers on Sable River enjoying the river, the sunsets and most of all the people. John and his wife Joan reconnected with relatives each year and made many friends along the South Shore. John is survived by his wife, Joan, and his sister Anne (Leo) Parker; his children John IV (Janet); Whayne; Nora; Lara (Pat); Lilith (Gab) as well as his grandchildren: Melanie, Micalah, Tinora, Robyn and Samuel; his Aunt Connie Langille of Martin’s River and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
