We, the family of the late Bernice Haley of New Waterford would like to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks to our relatives, friends, and neighbours for the kindness, love, and support shown to us during our recent loss. Thank you to the nursing staff and doctors of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital and the New Waterford Consolidated Hospital, the staff of the VON, and of New Dawn Homecare. Special thanks to caregivers, Dolly Bailey and Judy Challner for their kindness and dedication to Bernice and our family. To those who attended the visitation and funeral, brought food to our homes and to those who assisted with food preparations, your kindness will always be remembered, thank you. We also thank those that called, sent flowers and expressed their sympathy through cards, email, online condolences, or donations made in Bernice’s memory. Thank you to the staff of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Homes and to Father Doug MacDonald for the comfort and compassion shown to us during this difficult time. A sincere thank you to the altar servers, choir, and Eucharistic ministers of the Parish of Saint Leonard, as well as the pallbearers, readers, members of the Aging Gracefully, and the Ladies of the Carmel Centre. To all of you, we will long remember your kindness and love and we will be forever grateful.
