Ronald Floyd Eytcheson, beloved son of Lloyd and Florence Eytcheson passed away suddenly on December 2, 2008 in Red Deer, Alberta. Ron was born in Prince Albert on November 19 1958. He is survived by his parents, his sisters Bev Weber and Sue Eytcheson; his daughter Sarah Oberg, her sister Rene and many aunts, uncles & cousins. Ron was close to his nephews and nieces Justin, Travis and Erica Weber, Amber and Abbey Eytcheson and had a special place in his heart for his great niece Kyla Weber, her sisters Alyssa and Tienna as well as Jesse and Ivy Antonio all of Alberta. He was predeceased by his grandparents Floyd and Kathleen Eytcheson of Prince Albert and Kenneth and Blanche McDonald of Buffalo Narrows. Ron graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1975, then Renewable Resources at Kelsey Institute. He worked as a Conservation Officer, in fisheries, forestry, surveying, taught for Gabriel Dumont Institute, and Sales. Ron loved nature and especially a winter spent trapping in the North. He was naturally talented in music, and played many instruments, his special gift the violin and old time fiddle. Ever a gentleman, his generosity, kindness and sense of humor will be sorely missed. Memorial Mass and Celebration of Life will be held in his honor at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14th 2009 at St Michaels Roman Catholic Parish, 1505 - 13th Street West, Prince Albert, SK with Celebrant Father Francis Agbezuge. Interment will be held at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association, 1322 Central Avenue, Prince Albert, SK S6V 4W3 or The Lung Association of Saskatchewan, 1231 – 8th Street East, Saskatoon, SK S7H 0S5. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray's Funeral Chapel, Lorne Adams, Funeral Director.
