It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of their son, Justin L. Whalen, 30, of Moncton, who passed away at his residence on Saturday, February 19, 2011. Born in Moncton, Justin was the beloved son of Susan (Morris) LeBlanc (Don) of Moncton and Ralph Whalen (Gail) of Moncton and will be sadly missed by his devoted brothers, Nathan Whalen and Cody LeBlanc, both of Moncton, stepsister, Candice Norris (Matt), Sainte- Marie-de-Kent and stepbrother, Chris MacDougall, Moncton, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends that he thoroughly loved. While growing up, Justin was an active member of the Moncton Minor Baseball and Minor Football organizations. He loved very much fishing, hunting and just being around their camps. He was employed by Co-op Atlantic for 14 years. He also loved education by taking extra correspondence courses in business, etc. from the University of Athabasca, Calgary, AB (online). He was always there to help out if family and friends needed anything and he will be thoroughly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, Thursday, February 24, 2011, 1:30 pm, Rev. Cecil Symes officiating. Reception following the service in the Funeral Home Reception Centre. Interment, St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Kent Junction.
