MELANSON, PHYLLIS, 89, of Moncton, passed away on Wednesday February 23, 2011 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre. Born on September 27, 1921 in Scoudouc, NB, she was the daughter of the late Stanislas and Beatrice (Belliveau) Melanson. She is survived by three children: Paul, Michel “Mike” and Monique; her sisters and brothers: Gérald (Laura), Doris Breau (late Léo), Samuel (Gilberte), Edgar (late Rosella), Yvette Allain (Aquila) and Georgette Melanson (late Roger); two grandchildren: Kyla and Brea and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Alexandre (1972) and three sisters: Yvonne, Edith and Gérène.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. ONLY. Funeral mass will be held at Notre-Dame-de-Grâce R.C. Church, Moncton, on Monday February 28, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary R.C. Cemetery, Dieppe.
