It is with great sadness that the family of the late Daryl Ward Billard announce his sudden passing on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 42 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 6 years Lorraine (nee Bond); parents Ward and Triphena Billard; sister Sherry (Todd) Giles, brother Dennis (Pamela) Billard; very special nephew and niece Bradey and Cheyanne; parents-in-law Lewis and Gloria Bond; sister-in-law Melissa Bond and daughter Laura; brothers-in-law: Alvin Bond, Tony (Harriett) Bond and daughters Carley and Tara, Stephen (Anne) Bond and daughters Nikita and Sarah, Scott (Carrie) Bond; as well as a large circle of aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends. Friends may visit the United Church in Burgeo on Saturday and Sunday from where the funeral service will take place on Monday, February 28 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Wilson Goneese. Interment to follow at the Burgeo Community Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue.
