LENIHAN, Orrin Henry- 90, New Ross, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Friday, February 11, 2011, in Shoreham Village, Chester. Born in New Ross, he was a son of the late Alvin and Alma (Hennigar) Lenihan. Orrin was an avid hunter and had a passion for fishing. In his younger years he had been a truck driver, a woodsman and had worked in his brothers mill. Orrin later owned and operated his own Christmas Tree lot. He was a member of the Christ Anglican Church, New Ross. Surviving are sons, Gerhart (Diane), Llewelyn and Aldon (Valerie), all of New Ross; grandchildren, Nicole, Kimberly, Stephen, Craig, Lianne, Matthew, Natasha and Evan; sister, Phyllis (Gordon) Young, White Rock; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Doris I. (Broome) Lenihan; brothers, Ray, Clyde, Fred and Ivan; sister, Frances Collicutt. Visitation for Orrin was held from 7-9 p.m., Tuesday, February 15, in the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, 4935 Highway # 12, New Ross. Funeral service took place at 2 p.m., Wednesday, February 16, in Christ Anglican Church, New Ross. Rev. Robert Brush officiated, with spring burial in the Christ Anglican Cemetery, New Ross.
