Passed peacefully away Feb. 25, 2011 at the Central NL Regional Health Care Centre, Dulcie O.M. Thompson of Bishop’s Falls. She was 82 years of age. She was predeceased by husband Arthur Thompson; parents, Malcolm & Ivy Payne; sisters, Sadie Beck, Nellie Brace, Ann Gardner; brother-in-law, Jim Gardner; son-in-law, Rodger Warford; stepson-in-law, Don Rowsell. Left to mourn are sons, Eugene (Shirley), Terry (Grace), Dennis (Jane), Tony (Julia), John (Aggie), Rick (Denise); daughters, Barb, Betty, Peggy (Paul), Debbie, Diane (Frank). Also left to mourn are 34 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren, known to each and everyone of them as Nanny Thompson. Also sisters Pauline (Johnny Pantano), Lillian (Melvin Brown) and Doreen Jones; brothers, George (Maxine), Lester (Evelyn); brother-in-law Ewart Brace; step-son, Ray Cooper (Jeanette); step-daughter, Jean Rowsell and a very large circle of family and friends. Pastor Shawn Bowers conducted funeral services at Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 with interment at the Pentecostal Cemetery. Pallbearers were her sons, Terry, Tony, John, Dennis, Rickie and brother Lester Payne.
