
Edgar Hebert
1908-2011 - Edgar Hébert, 102, of Bouctouche, husband of the late Emilienne (Richard) Hébert (2010) passed away peacefully at his residence, surrounded by the love of his family on Friday, March 11th, 2011. Born in Grande-Digue on July 8th, 1908 he was the son of the late Charles and the late Marie (Breau) Hébert. Edgar was a mechanic by trade. He will be sadly missed by his sixteen loving children, Annette Thériault (Norman), Monique MacMullin both of Moncton, Claudette Smith (Doug) of Riverview, Emilie Bourgeois (Edmond) of Grande-Digue, Huberte Cornellier (René) of Mont St Hillaire, QC, Lucille Trottier (Yvon) of Côteau du Lac, QC, Louise-Germaine Flanagan (Joe) of Woodstock, ON, Clarence (Janice) of Charlottetown, PE, Paul-Emile (Olive), Euclide (Geneva), Edgar (Denise), Georges (Lise) all of Bouctouche, Lorenzo (Nicole) of Sainte-Marie de Kent, Claude (Marie-Mai) of Shediac, Marc (Cathy) of Sainte-Anne de Kent, Maurice (Jocelyn) of Irishtown, forty two grandchildren, thirty three great grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn one brother Albert (Anita) of Moncton, and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by two sons Jean-Marie (1979) and Gilles, three brothers, Johnny, Alcide and Edmond and two sisters Mable and Anne.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Tuesday, March 15th, from 7 to 9 and Wednesday from 2 to 3:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Wednesday, March 16th at 4:00pm with internment in the parish cemetery in the spring. In Edgar’s memory donations can be made to the parish or to the Manoir Saint-Jean Baptist, Bouctouche.
