LUCY MACDONALD
We, the family of the late Lucy MacDonald, who passed away on March 3, 2011 at the New Waterford Hospital, wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to friends, relatives, and neighbours for the kindness and thoughtfulness shown to us during the loss or our mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. To those who attended the wake and funeral services, brought food to our homes, visit or called, expressed sympathy through cards, masses, monetary and charitable donations in Mom's memory, emails, sent flowers, we thank you. Thanks also to the staffs at 4 North Glace Bay, Waterford Heights and Medical floor, New Waterford Hospital and Dr.'s Azir & Littlejohn for taking care of our mother. We appreciated the attendance of Ladies L'Assumption Society Cercle Evangeline, the C.W.L. and New Waterford Pensioners Club, and to Father Doug MacDonald for his guidance, prayer and kind words during the funeral mass. Thanks to St. Leonards choir, especially the french songs, organist Brine MacIsaac (for the extra favours). Readers, Eucharisitic servers, gift bearers. To the pallbearers; Yogi, Blaise, Kevin, Bill, Glenn, Troy - A big thanks for taking Mom to her final resting place, to Michelle and Darcy for making it possible to have and view Mom's life on video. Our gratitude to the Ladies Auxillary KOC for the beautiful reception. We will always be grateful to McGillivray's Funeral Homes for their compassion and guidance and the many people who gave us support in our time of grief.
