Kenneth “Ken” R. Fenwick, 75, of Golden Years Estates, Moncton, passed away on arrival at the Moncton Hospital on Friday evening, March 18, 2011. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Katherine (Kenney) Fenwick. Ken was retired from Domtar Ltd. (Norampac Inc.) with over 20 years service. He was a member of Mountain View United Church and was a former member of the Moncton Lions Senior Citizens Club, Air Force Veterans Club and the CNR War Vet’s Club. In past years Ken was an aviation enthusiast and enjoyed spending time with family. Ken will be sadly missed by his wife of over 39 years, Marilyn (Turner) Fenwick; sisters, Margaret Nelson (Robert), Ottawa, ON; Elizabeth Buell (Rodney), Chester, NS; brother, Ronald Fenwick (Edna), Sarnia, ON; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his half sister, Arlene Holloway (Lloyd); half brothers, Harold (Helen) and George Fenwick.
Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home 1657, Mountain Road Moncton (858-1995) Tuesday, March 22, 2011 from 2pm till time of Funeral Service at 4pm with Rev. Mary Anningson officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment, St. Matthew’s United Church Cemetery, Claireville, in the spring.
