(1933-2011) - John Richard Dupuis passed away suddenly Saturday, March 19th, 2011 at his daughters Alison’s home in Riverview, NB. Born in Newcastle, the son of Oland and Sarah Dupuis, John became active in the Miramichi area as a business man. Dupuis Studio, past President of Miramichi Golf Club and Newcastle Curling Club, Newcastle Town Council, various chair positions with the Newcastle Kinsmen Club. A long time resident of the Moncton - Riverview area, he still calls Miramichi home. He leaves one son John (Anne), two daughters Alison and Heather, a son in law Jon Annis, four sisters Etta Warrel (Linton), Shirley Manderson (Edward), Peggy Wade (Graham), all in Miramichi, Theresa Montgomery (John) of Nackawick, NB, four brothers; Oland (Laurie) Vancouver, BC., Harry (Bonnie) in Newcastle, Charlie (Debra) in Riverview, Danny (Lorraine) in St. John. He was predeceased by his parents, Oland and Sarah and a sister Deborah all of Newcastle, NB. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren; Jacob, Olivia, and Oscar and his loving dog Bobby.
The will be no visitation or funeral service. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association. Interment in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
