It is with great sadness that the family of the late HOWARD MALLAY of Marystown announces his passing at his residence in Marystown on Friday March 18, 2011 at the age of 68. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Wife Jean of 45 years; Sons Michael (Paula) of Marystown, and Howard Jr. of Marystown; Daughters Jo-Anne Mallay Jones (Aaron) of Marystown, and Katrina (Michael) Squires of St. John’s; Sisters Annie Brennan, Josephine (Dot) Power, and Geraldine (Dean) Lambe; Brother Leonard Mallay; 8 Grandchildren Christopher, Jeana, David, Luke, Sarah, Maggie, Mccailey, and Keegan; plus a large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by his Parents James & Margaret Mallay; Brothers Eli, James & Gerald; and Sisters Josephine & Gladys. Funeral Mass took place on Monday March 21, 2011 at 10:30am from Sacred Heart R.C. Church in Marystown. Interment followed at the Sacred Heart R.C. Cemetery in Marystown. In Howard’s memory, donations may be made to the Burin Peninsula Health Care Foundation or flowers gratefully accepted.
