Mary Bernice Leonard, 91, of Scoudouc Road passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2011 at the Lakeview Manor, Riverview. Born September 15, 1919 in Scoudouc Road, she was the daughter of the late Charles Connors and Stella Burns. She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church, Pte du Chene, a former member of the C.W.L, Shediac Hospice, Retired Teachers Association, Silver Sands Seniors, Delta Kappa Gamma, Moncton and was Past-President of Maple Leaf Zone Seniors. She is survived by her daughter: Anne Marie Robinson (Stephen) of Moncton: her son Kevin (Sandra) of Shediac Bridge; her sister: Bernadette McKendy of Bathurst; a grandson David Robinson of Moncton and by two grand daughters: Thalia and Sabrina Leonard both of Shediac Bridge. She is predeceased by her husband James Daniel Leonard in 1967, her sister Rita Hickey and by her brother Joseph Connors.
Visitation at Frenette's Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Tuesday, March 29, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. only. Funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church, Pointe du Chêne on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at 10;30 a.m. Arrangements under the direction of Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac, N.
