Valerie Theresa Zeporah McKendry, born Nov. 4, 1939. It is with the deepest heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of our mother on March 19, 2011, in Victoria, B.C. She passed away peacefully with her beloved children by her side: Debby (Dale), Jeanette (Jim), Susan, and favourite son Kenneth in the CCU at RJH. She is predeceased by the love of her life Kenneth in 2001; parents Titus and Susan Nash, and siblings. She is survived by sister, Joyce Adams, Digby; and three sistersin-law, Reta, Sheila and Vi; her wonderful and loving grandchildren, Rick (Fran), Erica (Marc), Jason (Claudia), Theresa and Sara (Glen). She is known as GG to her six great-grandchildren, Kodi, Corbin, DJ, Dallas, Owen and Cassidy, all of whom were the sweet-cheeks of her life. Her dearest friend and Yahtzee buddy Maureen Robinson (Lisa). Many nieces and nephews. At our mom’s request, there will be no service. We would like to thank the staff at VGH and RJH emergency as well as the nurses and doctor at VGH 4B South and CCU at RJH for the compassionate care she received. She danced, laughed and baked her way into many hearts and will be missed by all.
