Suddenly in New York, passed away on Friday, March 25th, 2011, at the age of 71, from Neguac, Mr Euclide Godin. Born on October 23rd, 1939, he was the son of the late Pierre (Peter) Godin and the late Elisabeth LeBreton. He is survived by Claudette Girouard, his children: Joanne (Jacques Breau) of Miramichi, Fernande (Edgar Robichaud) of Shippagan and Pierre (Rose-Marie Savoie) of Neguac; five grandchildren: Julie Robichaud, Daniel Robichaud, Jessica Breau, Alissa Godin and Mathieu Godin; his sisters: Edith (late Hennessey Robichaud and friend of Léonard Comeau) and Marcella (Henri Brideau); his brother, Alderice (Rose-May); his sisters-in-law, Mona Godin and Berthe Godin and also his friend Marie-Jeanne Godin. Predeceased by his brothers: Yvon Godin and Donat Godin. Mr Godin was the owner of Godin Ventures Ltd. He received the Governor General Medal of Canada for his dedication with the St-John Ambulance. He has been a member of crime stoppers for over 25 years and took part in numerous organizations.
Mr Godin will be resting at the Robichaud & Son Home, 50, Otho Street, Neguac, on Thursday, March 31st, 2011 at 7 pm. The Funeral services will be held at the St-Bernard Church of Neguac on Saturday, April 2nd, 2011 at 2 pm. Visitation hours : Thursday 7 to 9, Friday 2 to 4, 7 to 9, Saturday 12 until the departure.
