It is with great sadness that the family of the late Loretta Stride announce her passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, on Thursday March 24, 2010 at the age of 70. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her sons: Chris (Lila), Peterview, NL, Brendon (Merina), Gus (Verna), John (Sheila), & Gavin (Connie), all of Conne River, NL; daughters: Mary (Elaine), rita (Larry), Frances (Alvin), Marie (Clint), Roxanne (Rick), Jodi (Adam), Trudy (Lionel) all of Conne River, NL; grandchildren: Faye, Sandy, Loretta, Kelsey, Allan, Jacob, Tanner, Hayden, Keon, Cheyenne, Doonna0Rae, Sarah, Joshua, Levi, Christopher, Trevor, Keisha, Dylan, Chloe, Kendel; great-grandchildren: Cayden, Landon, Chase, Abe, Damien, Brianna & Mackenzie; brothers: Joe Gunn (Bernice), Peterview, NL, Jack Gunn (Diane), Wataskawa, AB, Lawrence Gunn (Wavey), Peterview, NL as well as a large circle of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband: Levi; sons: Levi & Gerard; brothers: Richard, Edward, Thomas & Peter; sisters: Mary, Anne & Bridget. The funeral service was held on Monday March 28, 2011 at 2 p.m. at St. Anne’s R. C. Church, Conne River, NL with Father Justin Dawson officiating. Cremation followed.
