October 4, 1912 - March 31, 2011. It is with great sadness that the family of the late JULIA BAKER of Marystown announces her passing at the U.S. Memorial Health Care Centre in St. Lawrence on Thursday March 31, 2011 at the age of 98. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Sons Leonard (Orion), Kevin (Bridget), Tom (Carol), Jim (Theresa), and Vince (Dot); Daughters Bride (Hughie) Mitchell, Alice (Ray) Murphy, Patricia (John) Norman, and Judy (Bob) Drake; a large number of Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren; 1 Great-Great Grandchild; Special Niece Sister Mary Kelly; a large number of nieces and nephews; plus a large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by Husband Vincent, Daughter Sister Mary, Son Eddy, and Daughter-in-law Sharon. Resting and visitation to take place from Wiseman’s Funeral Homes in Marystown on Saturday April 2nd from 2 p.m.
- 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 pm; Sunday April 3rd from 2 pm - 5 pm and 7 pm -9 pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday April 4, 2011 at 10 a.m. from Sacred Heart R.C. Church in Marystown. Interment to follow at the Sacred Heart R.C. Cemetery in Marystown. In Julia’s memory, donations may be made to the U.S. Memorial Health Care Centre or a charity of one’s choice, or flowers gratefully accepted.
