Frank Wilson Mason

Mason, Frank Wilson. Peacefully at home, on April 1, 2011, Frank Wilson Mason, at the age of 73, got his wish and passed away in his sleep, with no fuss or bother.
Dad grew up in Meadowvale. He loved fishing with his favourite son-in-law and telling his grandchildren stories. He will always be lovingly remembered for teaching Peggy to ride her bike, or turning Roger orange by feeding him too many carrots, or bragging about his great-grandchildren. He was an avid cribbage player, and spent many Tuesday evenings with Ed Lorraine, Archie and the gang at Liberal headquarters; and anyone who knew Dad will remember his buddy’s buddy.
Surviving are his daughter, Melody (Richard); granddaughter, Peggy (Chris); grandson, Roger; great-granddaughters, Alexis and Mia; and loving companion, Erma. He is also survived by sisters, Elma and Ethel; many nieces and nephews; friends, Laura, Pat, Dave, Marge, and so many more over the years.
He was predeceased by his parents, Leon and Grace Mason; great-grandson, Rennon; sister, Lola; brothers, Dan and Lawson.
In accordance with Dad’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no formal funeral service. Interment will follow at a later date in South Branch Cemetery.
Wednesday evenings will never be the same Dad, without your calls asking the same questions every week – the weather’s fine; the kids are good; and your great-granddaughters will always know that Grampie loved them.
We would like to thank the staff of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative for your kindness, and Laura for always being there for Dad.
“Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure.
You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure”~
I love you Grandpa, you will be missed.
