At the age of 47 in Chinhae City, South Korea. John David Lawley B.Soc.Sc., instructor at the Republic of Korea Naval Education and Training Command, English School.
Survived by his parents, John David Sr. and Shirley Ann (Stephenson) Lawley of RR#1 West Lorne, Ont.; brothers, Charles and Julie (Papandris) Lawley of West Lorne, Ont. and Doug and Kelly (Price) Lawley of Kitchener, Ont. Also survived by his nieces, Jessica, Jacqueline, Meghan, Emma and Jayme Lawley and his uncle, John Savory of Coleshill, England.
Predeceased by an infant brother, James Frederick Lawley; grandparents, LeRoi and Ilda (Calder) Lawley and Charles and Hazel (Anguish) Stephenson and his aunt, Helen Savory (Stephenson).
Friends may call at the West Lorne Chapel of Denning Funeral Directors on Saturday, April 9, 2011 from 1-2:30 p.m. A Masonic memorial service will be conducted at 2:45 p.m. under the auspices of West Elgin Lodge #386 A.F. & A.M. Funeral service will follow at 3 p.m., Rev. Canon Brenda Clark officiating. Interment of ashes will take place at Port Hope Union cemetery at a later date.
