John Charles White, 98, formerly of Little Pond passed away March 18, 2011.
Born in Little Pond, he was the son of the late John and Mary Ann (MacDonald) White.
Uncle John served with the RCAF from 1942-45 and upon his release moved to the United States where he was employed as a carpenter until his retirement.
He is survived by his nephews, Frank, Adrian, Sheldon, Gerard and Robert White; and his niece, Kathleen Davis.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Frank White, Joe MacNeil and nephew, Jack White.
Cremation has taken place. There will be a family graveside service at a later date under the direction of Francis Funeral Home, Sydney Mines.
