Steve SORON

With heavy hearts the family of Steve Soron wish to announce his passing on May 29, 2017, at the age of 86. Born December18, 1930 in Krydor, SK. to Paul and Mary Soron, he was the youngest of 9 children. Dad worked in the automotive industry as a salesman for 50 years, a job he thoroughly enjoyed. Dad had a big personality, he loved to tease and be teased. He was always up for a good debate. Steve is survived by his wife Eleanor; his son Alvin (Joyce) and their children Ashley (Andrew) Herbert and Christopher; his son Donald and his son Eric and great grandson Keegan; his daughter Dianne (Gib) Gervais and their children Ryan, Lindsay and Melissa; his daughter Sandra Soron and her children Devan and Danielle Regnier; his daughter Lana (Carey) Pillar and their children Josh and McKenna; brother John Soron and many other family and friends. Steve was predeceased by his son David Soron; his parents Paul and Mary Soron; in-laws Melvin and Pearl Jacobson; four sisters, three brothers and their spouses. The family would like to thank Dr. Cantin, the Herb Bassett staff, the Victoria Hospital ER, ICU and Pallative Care Staff. Thank you for the care you gave our Dad. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday June 2, 2017 at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert. SK. Interment will be at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. In lieu of other tributes a memorial contribution may be made to Saskatchewan Diabetes, 2301 Ave C North #104, Saskatoon, Sk. S7L 5Z5. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.
