It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rendell Oscar Payne announce his passing at Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Monday, May 29, 2017, at the age of 90 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his sons Brian (Carmencita), Timmons, ON., Morley (Heather), St. John's, Brent (Cindy), Torbay; grandchildren Shane, Vincent and Matthew; great-grandchildren Samantha, Dakota, Brian Jr., Mackenzie; brother Ira; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his wife Orelia; parents Emmanuel and Elizabeth (Cookie) Payne; grandson Dylan; his sister Minnie Blanchard. Friends may visit St. Peters Anglican Church, Parsons Pond on Wednesday, May 31st from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, June 1st from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 2nd at 11 a.m. from St. Peter's Anglican Church with Reverend Terry Rose officiating. Interment to follow at Anglican Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers will be graciously accepted or donations can be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
