Melina Mary Gould passed away at the John M. Gray Centre on May 26th, 2017 at the age of 88 years. She leaves to mourn with a lifetime of memories children Pius (Jessie), Maxine (Don), Jim (Imelda), Patsy, Maxwell (Pauline), Yvonne (Jim), Wayne (Janet), and Dean (Nadine); grandchildren Sheldon, Dale, Sean, Tyson, Jamie, Rendell, Ryan, Alex, Megan, Dylan, Janaya, and Matt; great-grandchildren Zachary, Alaina, Danielle, Cody, Gabriel, Tristan, Caleb, Preston, and Rylan as well as brother Primus Pittman Sr. and a large group of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Pius Gould, parents James and Theresa Pittman; brothers James, Christopher, Michael John, and Joseph, sisters Mary Alice Caines, Catherine Kennedy, Nellie Pittman, Florence Gould, Theresa Gould, and brother-in-law Jesse Gibbons. Visitation took place at Our Lady of Grace Roman Catholic Church in Bird Cove from where the funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 29 with Fr. Bosco officiating. Interment followed. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Ebukwe, funeral director.
