Leah passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at the Regina General Hospital at the age of 28 years. She was predeceased by her grandparents, John Flegel and Mary Kirkpatrick. Left to cherish Leah’s memory is her parents, Dan and Elaine Flegel; brother, Stuart (Shavonne) and their children Marshall and Ted; sister, Janelle (Justin and his children Kal and Alyssa); grandparents, Rose Flegel and Gordon Kirkpatrick; as well as a very large, loving extended family. Leah has struggled for over 20 years with many life impacting disabilities, but has enjoyed so much love and laughter with friends and family, which has made her life a joy to all who knew her. Leah loved her life on the farm and never wanted to live anywhere else. She loved her summers working at the Brick Plant, horseback riding, singing, playing games and cards. She loved her cat, Lilo. Leah touched so many lives with her love, courage and caring nature. She will be missed but never forgotten. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 5 at St. Joseph’s R.C. Parish, Claybank, SK. A Memorial Mass to Celebrate Leahs life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at St. Joseph’s R.C. Parish, Claybank, SK.
